Wood- Alignment and Method
This power vinyasa flow is designed for beginners as well as experienced practitioners who want to enhance their alignment and method. Poses are presented in a systematic and structured format that, once learned, frees the mind to explore the deeper offerings of yoga.
Beginner-Intermediate/1 hour
Earth- Flexibility and Mental Harmony
This grounding class is comprised of static postures with no chaturangas. The focus is on breath and deep relaxation into each pose. Beginners have the opportunity to learn traditional yoga poses while experienced students discover how to take each pose to a deeper level.
All levels/1 hour
Metal- Sculpted Body and Serene Mind
Yoga postures are combined with light weights and yoga sculpting exercises to create a firm, toned body and peaceful mind.
All levels/ 1 hour
Fire- Stamina and Strength
Fire classes build on the foundation created in the Wood yoga series by offering a vigorous and challenging workout. Fitness minded students as well as athletes will enjoy the detoxifying and energetic effects of this workout.
Advanced beginners -Intermediate/75 minutes
Water- Mental and Physical Balance
Candlelight, relaxing music, and meditative practice honor the deeper aspects of yoga in the water class. Students of all levels will enjoy the longer periods of meditation and guided relaxation as well as a series of balancing postures.
Beginners-Advanced /1 hour
Kid’s Yoga- Age and developmentally appropriate yoga poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques offer a child-friendly relationship to the physical and philosophical traditions of yoga. Classes incorporate lessons in creativity, self-acceptance, interpersonal skills, positive thinking, personal & environmental awareness and (most of all) fun!
